Re-Imagining Krystyn…and Life in General
Ahh! It’s December. I should be partnering with other authors to bring you great deals on great stories to give for Christmas (or read for yourself).
But the truth is I have no fun promotions for you this month. Here’s why.
First of all, I am in the process of re-imagining Krystyn’s character. I thought I had her backstory all figured out, but it always felt a bit off and didn’t seem to shape her into the person she is at the outset of The Dragon Destroyer.
I’m thus tweaking and deleting and adding events from her childhood that are more interesting and make more sense. She’s turning into a pretty cool character, and I look forward to sharing her with you.
The second reason is that I’m in the process of re-imagining my own life. I’m shaping an earlier-to-bed, earlier-to-rise habit which will allow me to get my writing done BEFORE work. That has me a bit out-of-sorts, and I want to get settled into this new routine before adding something else new (like expanding my marketing efforts).
And the third reason is that my heart is misbehaving, and my doc has ordered me not to exercise until he can determine what’s causing my irregular heartbeat as well as how to fix it.
My exercise ban began last Tuesday, and I miss my runs!
All I want for Christmas this year is to go on a nice long run through the woods.
What about you? What’s your Christmas wish?
