A Dream that Started 14 Years Ago Continues in a Fresh New Direction

Announcing the Published Before College Podcast
14 years ago on Sept 14, I made a decision to NOT send the agent who wanted to read my book the chapters he requested. Instead, I founded Dream Doers Publishing.
My initial publishing efforts were nothing short of disastrous. But I kept at it. I kept trusting God. I kept learning. I kept improving.
Then in 2014, I made a mega pivot. I switched genres, adopted the pen name of DK Drake, and published The Dragon Collector. Thousands of book sales, two additional novels and one podcast later, it’s time to make another mega pivot.
No, I’m not changing genres again. I like being DK and writing fantasy stories about dragons.
What I am shifting is my podcast focus. I’m hitting pause on Rise from Stuck and starting fresh with Published Before College, a podcast for creative kids and avid readers who want to learn how to tell great stories.
I had planned to launch today, but my cover art isn’t quite ready. Instead, I’m ANNOUNCING my launch date of Sept 21. I’ll have more episodes ready for you to binge (and share!) by next week, and I’ll be asking for your help in choosing the cover between now and then.
